If you haven’t seen me on here lately, it’s because last month I was diagnosed with cancer. Leukemia, to be exact. I am still fighting to get better, but it’s been a very, very difficult process. The hardest thing I’ve ever had to deal with by a huge margin. Just going about everyday tasks, like walking from one room to another, is exhausting. Thankfully, I am out of the hospital—after a month’s stay—and am now recovering at home. What this means for the future of this blog and the Aenya book series, I can’t say, but I am going to do my best to get back to where I was before this nightmare started. I still have high hopes for The Magiq of Aenya—I am more than halfway through it. Hopefully, this whole nightmare will become a memory, and this will only end up delaying my work, although I cannot help but think how drastically this has changed my outlook on life, and I am sure it is going to change my writing as well.
If you have been supporting me for these past years, I would like to thank you. You have no idea how important your patronage means to me.

I am so sorry to learn about your condition. I wish the best for you.
