The Dark Tower, Part 2: Song of Susannah

In this second part of our three-part series, Heather and I get into the nitty-gritty of Stephen King’s magnum opus, The Dark Tower, to discuss the many ups and downs of his sixth book, Song of Susannah.

As always, King excels at literary technique, and his talent for making us feel for his characters remains on point. Yet the pitfalls of his write-by-the-seat-of-his-pants approach to storytelling are more greatly felt in this one. Song of Susannah was a roller-coaster ride for us to read and review. It’s sometimes good, sometimes great, but too often, the plot goes all over the place and not in the best way.

Please give it a listen, a like, and a share! And we thankee sai, big big!
